Sticky

Ever wondered what would happen if you gave thousands of kids thousands of stickers? With the love affair that my son currently has with stickers, I know I have. Well Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama put it to the test in The Obliteration Room - with spectacular results! PS. Don't try this at home... unless of course you're cool with it, in which case, carry on! Get the full story here.

Whole wide world

I'm rather loving this world map wallpaper by Swedish designers Mr Perswall. Stylish and educational? Tick!

Let them eat cake

In my opinion, no matter your age, cake is truly the pinnacle of the birthday party. But a cake with Fruit Tingles icing? Or that turns five shades of purple? Or in the shape of a giant Tim Tam?? Surely this is "Best Mum/Dad Ever" award material. Thanks to the truly amazing creations over at Raspberri Cupcakes, the days of the cartoon character sponge with dubious colored icing are over my friends...

I'm just smitten with the range of fabric collages from Pouch Handmade. Individually handmade, using recycled and re-purposed fabrics and papers, each piece is a one-off and completely unique. Fabric collages can also be personalised to make a beautiful baby gift or heirloom piece for your little one. 100% Divine.

Sticky Beak: Ruby & Sebastian's Room Tour

I do love a sticky beak inside other people's homes, especially nurseries and kid's rooms. They're almost always the most creative and whimsical rooms in the house. This tour of Ruby & Sebastian's shared room, I found over at the lovely Smile & Wave, is no exception. A gorgeous mix of retro finds and perfectly placed whimsy. You can read more about this beautiful room, and see the full tour, here.
